Position Overview

As a Fundraising Events Assistant, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events that drive awareness and financial support for important causes. This role offers hands-on experience in event management, donor relations, and marketing—perfect for someone eager to grow in the nonprofit or events industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns

  • Coordinate event logistics, including materials, equipment, and on-site setup

  • Help develop and distribute marketing and promotional materials

  • Engage with donors, sponsors, and event attendees to ensure a positive experience

  • Conduct research to identify new sponsorship opportunities and fundraising prospects

  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and event documentation

  • Track event performance and provide feedback for future improvements

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging


Additional Duties

  • Support event timelines, schedules, and overall coordination

  • Communicate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth event operations

  • Assist in achieving fundraising goals and campaign targets

  • Help manage registrations and attendee communications

  • Contribute to event promotion through social media, email marketing, and outreach efforts

  • Draft donor communications such as thank-you messages and follow-ups
